We spoke some participants about the World Championships. What are their expectations? “We have talked often about this big event, everyone was waiting for this weekend and now we are finally here”, says Akis Touloupis and Dennis Oddo (both 1 th dan) from Germany. This is their first World Championship. “It’s great to see the hyungs for example, performed by people from different countries. We also hope to make a lot of friends. By the way, it’s cool that this event is in Rotterdam. The last two years it became a very nice city!” Marwin Peimaei (4th kup) from Holland is also enthusiastic. “I’m proud that this championship is in my country. It’s a good promotion for the martial art ánd for Holland. I’m looking forward to see and meet new people. Each time I compete in a Tang Soo Do-competition I get more exited!” |
With only a couple of days left from the World Championship and expecting that everybody is fully prepared for it, we want to point out the following important rules one last time: All participants must wear an original Tang Soo Do suit (tobok). During the event, the organization is not responsible for any theft or injuries. For those who will be at the banquet, the dress code is: Black or White tie.
Good luck to all the participants and see you all soon at the World Championships in Rotterdam! |
