We just had a great Tang Soo Do World Championship! A couple of highlights: · Kwan Jang Nim Salm is promoted to his 9th dan Tang Soo Do!! · The name of the new Tang Soo Do world organisation is “Worldwide Tang Soo Do Family”.The name that is chosen is exactly how the atmosphere was this weekend, friendly and sportive, like one big family. · Also the kodanja testings were very successful. All participants passed their kodanja testings. · The different forms and sparring techniques showed by all participants were great. Pictures can be found online soon!
Update Friday: Only one day before the official opening of the World Championships! A lot of people were already present in sportcenter The Wilgenring. At 7:00 am volunteers started preparing the dojang and the rest of the complex. A group nervous Kyosa’s started their Kodanja-testing at 10.00 am this morning. But not only will they be tested today, also saturday and sunday during the World Championship they will get various assignments. The seminar will start at 7:00 pm and ends at 9:00 pm.
